The versatility of glass is reflected not only in my objects made using Pate de Verre and cast glass, but also in small, delicate pieces of jewelry.
These distinctive glass jewelry pieces bring together a range of techniques and years of experience to create unique little works of art.
Over the centuries, glass jewelry has evolved into an art form in its own right. It began with the first glass beads around 6,000 years ago and continues to captivate with its diversity to this day.
One-of-a-kind glass pieces, finished with fine silver
All my objects are one-of-a-kind. I make moulds, then fuse glass into them using a variety of techniques.
Once the glass has cooled, I break open the moulds and carefully grind and polish the glass. The polished surfaces create the fascinating refraction of light and the distinctive radiance of the jewellery.
Finally, I make a custom setting for each glass pendant from 999 fine silver.
Artistic vision, technical precision and a playful lightness come together to create ever-new little treasures of this “wearable art”.
